MISSION STATEMENT:                          

We at the Period Pact promise to serve Houston menstruators and end period poverty and  stigma through intersectional advocacy, outreach, and education.    

                                                            

COMMITMENTS:                                 

• Be inclusive in our language, our advocacy, outreach, and service, and center our work on BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and, under-served communities in Houston              

• Fight to end the stigma around menstruation through education and policy change, especially      ending the Texas Tampon Tax and providing menstrual products in schools

• Remain open-minded, flexible, and willing to change and to receive constant input from our community and members

• Make our work accessible to everyone who needs it and to provide products and relief to as many people in Houston as possible

• Spread awareness about period poverty and the groups it most affects
